I am easy going, optimistic, kind-hearted, do not let life's up and downs bother me, and possess a wonderful sense of humor (despite the rather serious countenance I display in the photos). I think boredom is a state of mind and never let my mind enter that state. My interests are varied. I like the outdoors, most sports, good music, reading (I have read the major works of Tolstoy and Dostoevsky and enjoyed them) , theater, ballet, and many other things as well. Before I returned to college a few years ago, I studied your language on my own and had a vocabulary of about 800 words. I intend to begin once again before much longer. I have no children but I do have a nephew and a niece (both grown) whom I love dearly. I am far from perfect, but I do strive to be of some use in this world. My favorite place is home. As wonderful a place as it is, it would be much more pleasant with a good woman there with whom I could share it.

I do not want a domestic slave, just a good woman; one who is easy to get along with; a woman who can be a joy to be with and a joy to behold because she has a beautiful soul and spirit. I look for a woman who believes that marriage can smooth the rocky roads in life because each spouse knows the other will be a loving and trusting supporter. The love a married couple share should grow deeper and stronger each and every day. I think "mahyah zhenah" sounds poetical and holds much promise.
