Most likely you will go to Saint Petersburg by plane. There are two airports in Saint Petersburg: Pulkovo-1 and Pulkovo-2. Pulkovo-1 is a domestic airport. Pulkovo-2 is an international one. Both of airports are not far away from each other. The distance from airports to the downtown is 17km. You can get to the center of the city by taxi, express bus or public bus.
